What Yap Signer is

A self-custodial Chrome extension. The current build is 0.3.48. The Chrome Web Store listing is 0.3.48. It is not a general dapp connector and it does not send your phrase to Yap servers.

Create or restore

Generate a new 24-word wallet or restore an existing phrase. Creation and recovery happen in the extension popup, not on this page.

AES-GCM vault

The recovery phrase is sealed with AES-256-GCM. Unlock derives the key in memory. Locking or quitting Chrome wipes it.

Send, receive, QR

Receive SOL, ETH, BTC, BNB, HYPE, and USDC, then send those after you review the transfer. USDC includes Solana USDC and native USDC on Ethereum, Base, Arbitrum, OP Mainnet, Robinhood Chain, and HyperEVM. Bitcoin sends spend confirmed native SegWit outputs and return the change to this wallet.

Pump.fun

Yap Wallet works with Pump.fun. Find and trade those coins from the Yap Signer popup. The trade stays in the extension.

Jupiter swap

Solana swaps run through Jupiter from the same popup. A swap can start from SOL, USDC, or another Solana token, and it can sell back to SOL. Quotes use public mint addresses, not your seed or password.

Search and charts

Search SOL, ETH, BTC, BNB, HYPE, USDC, or a Solana token. Star a Solana coin to track it on Home. Tracked coins show as Watching until you hold them. Charts stay inside the popup.

Username and silent token

The master wallet gets an @adjective-noun-hex username. Silent signing stays off until you generate a one-time platform token. Allowlisted Yap sites can then ask for a Solana signature, or a transfer Yap Signer builds for BTC, ETH, BNB, HYPE, or USDC. Each silent transfer needs a fresh nonce. Sites cannot pass their own transaction data.

One master wallet supports custodial wallet records numbered 1 through 500. A new account opens slots 1 through 5. Yap stores the public address and the policy. Yap does not hold the private key. A saved hold, swap, or trade is not signed and is not broadcast.

Yap Signer 0.3.48 is the current build and the live Chrome Web Store listing. A member account is an email plus an 8-digit code, with one referral code and 5 credits per new install. One master wallet supports custodial records 1 through 500. A new account opens slots 1 through 5. Yap does not hold those private keys, and a saved row is not broadcast. A recorded purchase and a yearly SOL prize are not sent. People will buy SOL, ETH, or BTC through MoonPay or Stripe. The coins land in the master wallet. Yap's revenue is a share of partner earnings, not the card payment. MoonPay is under review, and Stripe Crypto Onramp is an application in progress, so a live card checkout is closed. The order is the product. Each step waits on the one before it. The phrase still does not go on a server.

    Account

    An email account on yap-pay.xyz is an email plus an 8-digit code. The code is stored only as a hash. The account password is stored only as a hash. It does not unlock the vault or approve a signature. A forgotten account password can be replaced after an emailed 8-digit code, and that code does not reset the signer vault password. One referral code per member. A new install adds 5 credits. The desk referral link is a public @username link on yap-pay.xyz. A yearly first-place prize is recorded as some SOL and is not sent. The 24-word phrase stays on the device, AES-256-GCM. People will buy SOL, ETH, or BTC through MoonPay or Stripe. The coins land in the wallet. Yap's revenue on that buy is a share of what MoonPay or Stripe earn. It is not the customer's card payment. MoonPay is under review. Stripe Crypto Onramp is an application in progress. The hosted checkout domain is crypto.link.com. A live card checkout is closed. Yap does not credit a balance when a purchase is marked reported.

    The desk

    This opens only after the account exists and the address is attested.

    • Referrals. An influencer code is remembered on install. One code per member. The desk referral link is a public @username link on yap-pay.xyz. A new install adds 5 credits. Nothing is recorded for the influencer until a purchase or a Yap Cash deposit is reported. The influencer then gets a slice of Yap's share. The leaderboard ranks codes by that unpaid reward. Until a partner contract names the real cut, Yap's share is 1% of the order and the influencer's slice is 20% of that share. A $100 order records $1.00 for Yap and $0.20 for the code. paid stays false. Those figures are a worked example. They are not totals, not a leaderboard, and not proof that anyone has been paid.     • Leaderboard. Competition scores belong to the attested account.
    • Follow. The same @username is the person, on Signer and on the custodial desk.
    • Warmers. A warmer counts to day 14 and does not send a transaction. Three trial marks, one top coin on Solana, one on Ethereum, and one on Bitcoin, are signed on the device and are not broadcast.
    • Campaigns and groups. Named wallets in three lanes: warming, live, and reserve. A preset does not start execution.
    • Custodial records 1 through 500. One master wallet. A new account opens slots 1 through 5. Each slot stores a public address and a policy. Yap does not hold the private key. A hold, swap, or trade is saved only after silent mode is on for the master wallet and that slot, an approved custodial KYC case exists, and that slot's access code is used. The saved row is not signed and is not broadcast. You can freeze, revoke, or replace a slot from the master wallet.
    • The buy. People will buy SOL, ETH, or BTC through MoonPay or Stripe. If approved, the coins land in the master wallet address the customer controls. Yap's revenue on that buy is a share of what MoonPay or Stripe earn. It is not the customer's card payment. MoonPay is under review. Stripe Crypto Onramp is an application in progress. The hosted checkout domain is crypto.link.com. A live card checkout is closed. Yap does not credit a balance when a purchase is marked reported. Yap does not custody the coins. A later sale turns crypto into Yap Cash. A partner ramp deposits that into the customer's bank. Yap records a cash-out bonus on that deposit.
    • In-wallet browser. It only opens member, desk, buy, and onboarding on yap-pay.xyz. It does not hold a key.
    • Chains. The current signer receives and sends SOL, ETH, BTC, BNB, HYPE, and Circle USDC. Solana swaps run through Jupiter. BNB, Base, Arbitrum, OP Mainnet, Robinhood Chain, and HyperEVM use the Ethereum address. Hyperliquid in the signer means HyperEVM. Yap does not offer perpetuals, securities, tokenized stocks, lending, or copy trading.
  3. 03

    iPhone and Android

    Same vault rule as Chrome. The phrase stays on that device. These clients are planned and not released.

  4. 04

    Control and execution

    Last, and still closed. The control layer would configure, authorize, and observe wallets, agents, permissions, and payment activity. The execution layer would execute, monitor, and settle an authorized intent on an available rail. The platform does not broadcast those agent moves.

How to use Signer

Help checklist

  1. Install Yap Signer and open the popup, or open the side panel if you want the wallet to stay beside the page.
  2. Create a wallet or restore from 24 words.
  3. Write down the recovery phrase and confirm three words.
  4. Open Receive, pick SOL, ETH, BTC, BNB, HYPE, or USDC, then copy the address or scan the QR. Receive addresses still work while the wallet is locked.
  5. Find Pump.fun coins and swap Solana tokens through Jupiter in the popup.
  6. Leave signing on Manual unless the platform needs silent sign.
  7. For silent sign, generate a platform access token, copy it once, and paste it into Yap. Generating a new token destroys the old one.
  8. Unlock is required for signing. The private key stays in memory; locking or restarting Chrome wipes it.
