01Does Yap Wallet work with Pump.fun?
Yes. Yap Wallet works with Pump.fun. In Yap Signer, the Chrome wallet shipping now, you find and trade Pump.fun coins from the popup. iOS, Android, and the dApp are planned and not released. This website does not hold your keys or sign those trades.
02Can I swap with Jupiter seamlessly?
Yes. Swaps run through Jupiter from the Yap Signer popup, in the same wallet, without a separate swap site. Review the quote before you sign. Confirmed Solana transactions cannot be undone.
03What is an agent wallet?
An agent wallet is a subordinate wallet the person would authorize for one purpose, such as trading, data, or commerce. Its authority would stop at a policy the person sets. It would not hold the primary wallet's key and it would not spend the primary treasury. That fleet is the direction of the control layer. It is not live. Yap Signer is the master wallet today. One master wallet supports custodial records numbered 1 through 500. A new account opens slots 1 through 5. Yap stores the public address. Yap does not hold the private key. A saved row is not broadcast.
04Is Yap locked to crypto?
The current wallet sends crypto after you review the transfer. People will buy SOL, ETH, or BTC in the wallet through MoonPay or Stripe. The coins land in their wallet. Yap's revenue on that buy is a share of what MoonPay or Stripe earn. It is not the customer's card payment. MoonPay is under review. Stripe Crypto Onramp is an application in progress. The hosted checkout domain is crypto.link.com. A live card checkout is closed. A later sale turns crypto into Yap Cash. A partner ramp deposits that into the customer's bank. Yap records a cash-out bonus on that deposit. Yap Signer is the authorization boundary. An agent could later use either path inside authority the person set. That execution is not live. The signer still holds the key.
05What does Yap Signer do?
Yap Signer keeps your 24-word wallet on this device in an AES-GCM vault. The current build receives and sends SOL, ETH, BTC, BNB, HYPE, and USDC, works with Pump.fun, and swaps Solana tokens through Jupiter. It is not a general dapp wallet, and it does not hold your keys on a server.
06What is Yap Wallet?
Yap Wallet is the layer that connects a person, the agents they authorize, traditional money, and crypto. Yap Signer 0.3.48 is the current self-custodial Chrome build and the authorization boundary. The Chrome Web Store listing is 0.3.48. Yap Wallet 0.4.0 has not shipped. iOS, Android, and a yap-pay.xyz dApp stay planned. Signer keys stay on your device in an AES-GCM vault.
07What is a settlement layer, and why do layers use different denominations?
Settlement is the confirmed transfer on the rail that holds the asset. A settlement layer is that rail: the network, the asset, and the unit the amount is counted in. SOL settlement is the example: YAP is the denomination, and the transfer settles in SOL. Ethereum and Bitcoin are their own layers, settling in ETH and BTC. USDC shows why a ticker is not a layer: Solana USDC and Ethereum USDC use different addresses. Yap Money Manager will choose the rail from policy. The wallet spends that rail's denomination. Each agent is bound to one rail.
08Is Yap Signer a Chrome extension?
Yes. It runs in Chrome as an extension popup, and the same wallet can stay open in the side panel. It is also the authorization boundary for the wallet: a request can ask it to sign, and the key stays on the device. Create, restore, unlock, and sign happen there. This website cannot create, import, export, or reset a wallet.
09Where are my keys stored?
The master wallet stays on this device. The 24-word phrase is sealed in an AES-256-GCM vault. Unlock derives the key in memory, and locking or restarting the browser wipes it. Yap's servers do not receive that phrase, the wallet password, or that private key. One master wallet supports custodial records numbered 1 through 500. A new account opens slots 1 through 5. Yap stores the public address for a slot and does not hold that private key. The address is not derived from the 24-word phrase. A saved hold, swap, or trade is not broadcast.
10Can Yap recover my wallet if I lose the 24 words?
No. Yap cannot reset this. If the phrase is lost, the wallet is lost. Write the recovery phrase down and keep it off this device.
11Does this website hold my seed or password?
No. yap-pay.xyz never accepts a seed, vault password, or private key. Page scripts may send ping and getStatus only.
12How do I install Yap Signer?
Yap Signer is live on the Chrome Web Store. Use the We're live button on yap-pay.xyz. Create, restore, and unlock still happen in the extension popup, not on this website.
13Can I search for coins and track tokens?
Yes. Search covers SOL, ETH, BTC, BNB, HYPE, USDC, and Solana tokens. Star a Solana coin to track it on Home. Tracked coins show as Watching until you hold them. Charts stay in the popup. Market data providers never receive your private key.
14Can I send, receive, and swap?
Yes, from the extension. The current build receives and sends SOL, ETH, BTC, BNB, HYPE, and Circle USDC, including USDC on Solana, after you review the transfer. Solana swaps run through Jupiter and can start from SOL, USDC, or another Solana token. The Chrome Web Store listing is 0.3.48. A confirmed transfer cannot be undone.
15Does Yap Signer work on every website?
No. It is not a general dapp wallet. Silent tokens and page scripts only work on allowlisted Yap origins.
16Who is building Yap?

17Is this YAP.trade, yap.team, or the 2021 YAP DAO?
No. Kaito and Yap-to-Earn are a separate social-posting product. YAP.trade is a separate Solana trading product. yap.team is an older unrelated ecosystem brand. YAP DAO is associated with Samantha Yap (2021). YAPSTONE is a separately branded search result. This site is Yap Signer. iOS, Android, and the yap-pay.xyz dApp are planned and not released.
18How do the custodial wallets work?
One master wallet supports custodial records numbered 1 through 500. A new account opens slots 1 through 5. Each record stores a public address and a policy. Yap does not hold the private key. A hold, swap, or trade is saved only after silent mode is on for the master wallet and that slot, an approved custodial KYC case exists, and that slot's access code matches. The saved row is not signed and is not broadcast. Execution of those slots is closed. You can freeze, revoke, or replace a slot from the master wallet. A MoonPay or Stripe purchase, if approved, is delivered to the master wallet address you control.
19How do i trade with ai agents
Trading with an AI agent means the agent proposes a trade and a wallet decides whether that trade may be signed. Do not paste a seed phrase, private key, or exchange withdrawal key into a chat or an agent. That phrase is ownership of the wallet. YAP Signer keeps the 24-word phrase on the device. 26How do I give an AI agent permission to trade but not my keys?
Permission is a limit. Ownership is the key. A useful limit names the amount, the asset, the venue, the purpose, the time window, and whether a person must approve. YAP's published chain is human, then authority, then policy, then agent, then execution. The agent proposes an action. Policy fails closed when a bound is crossed. 27Can ChatGPT or Claude sign a crypto transaction?
A language model can draft a transaction. It should not hold the key that signs it. Signing belongs in a wallet the model cannot export. With YAP Signer, a request can reach the Chrome extension, which holds the key locally and is what can sign. YAP Signer works with Pump.fun and swaps Solana tokens through Jupiter. The 24-word phrase stays on the device. An integration asks the extension to sign; it does not receive the phrase. 30How is a signer different from giving a bot an exchange API key?
An exchange API key with trade or withdraw permission is a credential the bot stores. If the bot or the host is copied, the credential goes with it. A device signer works the other way: the bot stores a request, and the key stays in the extension. YAP Signer is in the second category. The server does not hold the key.
